Let’s take care of Earth, together, Globally.
Earth Day, 2015

Green, with a forecast of wet.

Here comes, Rico!

Loving life!

Ready to burst into bloom soon!

Partial view of the Butterfly Garden.

Shading our existence, in a canopy of green. (View from the upper area of the deck..)

Happy Earth Day, 2015!

Thank you for your visit, and your compliments. Being outside and playing in the dirt is one of life’s greatest rewards!

You manage all of this by yourself?!

Yes, I do, but come mid-summer the oppressive heat wilts the daylights out of everything, including me. I retreat to the air conditioned confines of the house and finally get around to the ‘spring’ cleaning.
Thanks for visiting. :-)

It’s a beautiful garden you have! Even my mother’s into gardening but our lack of space and her lack of time just don’t let her pursue it anymore! I’ll show her your garden :)

Thank you!
I no longer work outside the house (or yard), but I once did and remember how I couldn’t wait to change clothes and get to my garden. Nothing is more peaceful and calming as being with nature.

I’ve never been into gardening, again the space factor, but I do know what it is to find solace in nature… It’s unnerving how it seems to soothe your nerves…

Nature causes us to stop, think and give thanks. It is a primal instinct, I think.

Your garden is beautiful, tended by someone who loves the earth. We’re just planting a butterfly, hummingbird garden in the front of our yard. Lantanas and lavender.

Thanks, Sharon! :-)
I wish I could grow lavender. I’ve tried several times, but have never had success.
I have lantana in the front yard; it did well last year, but it’s having a struggle getting started. We had a late snowfall that set it back.
Enjoy your butterfly garden! Each day I see more visitors to mine. Once the daylilies bloom the action starts.
